We have just had a fantastic week in South Devon with the dogs. We stayed at Bolberry down cottages owned by the Port Light hotel. Both are extremely dog friendly and have won awards for this. You can either stay in a cottage or in the hotel with your dogs. You can eat at the hotel with your dogs at the table. Well we survived our first show at the Bolsover show today. Zhaan got 3rd in Any variety hound and Reserve in Any variety puppy. I was not expecting much at her first show so I am really pleased. She did well and was the only Elkhound at the show. I must say I have never known a place so cold. I could have put my frozen chicken in the halls and I bet it would still be frozen next time I went back lol. Mite skip this place in the winter from now on.
