Cobain
The Arrival
We looked around for a while for Border Collie breeders in Ontario. We searched many places, but none seemed to fit the "reputable breeder" standards I was looking for. Then we found Hollowshot. We picked Cobain out at 2 weeks old, but visited him almost every other week to see his progress before we could take him home.
Today
Coby has the most character I have ever seen in a dog. It seems that he's quite aware of his good looks and seems to use that to his advantage. Very understanding, easy to train to do virtually anything. And all around good boy, I'm definitely glad I chose him.
Oz
The Arrival
Before I got Oz, I had wanted a beagle terribly. My mother had owned beagles all her life when she was younger and they provided her with her fondest memories. So of course she was willing to get another. The one condition was that I achieved all "A's" on my final report card one year. That seemed to be a better incentive than Disney Land. I got the marks she asked for and we started searching for beagle breeders the next day.
Today
I know I probably didn't get Oz from the most reputable of breeders (probably far from it actually), but I'm glad we got him. I often get comments on how well behaved he is *for a beagle* He is quite reliable off-leash, never had a problem with training him, never chewed anything past his own toys, very quiet *again for a beagle that is* and very eager to please.
Another trait about Oz that is apparently odd for a beagle is that he will fetch until your's and 5 other guys arms fall off. He is one tireless beagle!
